Frequently Asked Questions
-
Can you hold a property before I apply?
We rent homes on a first-come, first-served basis. To secure a property, you'll need to complete an application and submit any required fees. We recommend applying as soon as possible if you're interested. -
How old do I have to be to apply?
You must be at least 18 years old or of legal age in your state to apply for and sign a lease. -
Is the security deposit refundable?
Yes. As long as the lease terms are met and there's no damage beyond normal wear and tear, your security deposit is refundable. Any deductions will be clearly explained. -
How do I apply for a property?
Applications are done online, not in person. To request an application, email contact@clearchoicepm.com. We'll need a completed application, an application fee, and documents like proof of income and ID. -
How do I pay rent?
Most tenants pay rent online through the tenant portal. Depending on the property, you may also be able to pay by check, money order, or bank transfer. -
What should I do if I want to get a pet?
Before bringing a pet home, check your lease and reach out to us. Some properties allow pets with a pet deposit or monthly pet rent, while others may have restrictions or require approval. -
I plan to move out when my lease ends. What should I do?
Please review your lease and submit your notice in writing before the required deadline. This helps us plan and makes your move-out process smoother. -
Who handles repairs and maintenance?
We take care of all routine maintenance and repairs. If something breaks or needs attention, let us know right away through your tenant portal. Tenants may be responsible for issues caused by negligence or misuse.
